Presbyterians may have a reputation for being a sour bunch of grapes, who teach harsh doctrine, follow strict governance regulations and follow a dry and dead confession (called the Westminster confession of faith).
I hope that as you get to know us more: you will know: this simply isn’t true.
The first question and answer in the shorter Westminster Catechism of faith is this:
Q. What is the chief end of man?
A. Man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever
We take Jesus seriously at his word when he promised that He came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10)

We take Jesus seriously at his word when He prayed that we may have the Joy that He and His father have (John 17:13)
While we can experience the Joy of God in our individual lives, we believe that Joy is expressed and experienced, most gloriously, as the body of believers join together.
What are the implications of enjoying Jesus together?
1. As we enjoy Jesus together, we build and equip God’s people
2. As we enjoy and find our satisfaction in Jesus, we naturally want others in our community to enjoy Jesus too. Hence God builds us up, to reach out to
